First oil change...?
At what mileage did you do your first oil change?
I just crossed over the 2000 mile mark yesterday and thinking if it might be best practice to change the break-in oil.
Your thoughts?

I did my first change at 1000 mi. and sent a sample to Blacksone. Filled with Motul X-Cess 5W-40, pick your favorite flavor.

I did a change when I finished break-in, then once a year thereafter. (I never come close to hitting the mileage limit...)
To answer your question, Phil, I'd do a change now on your car.

Phil, I've used Motul in the last 5 cars. Recommended to me by Steve Weiner.

I also changed at 1000miles. Had to twist my OPC's arm to do it as they thought it was nonsense. They them proceeded to include their standard tyres pressure check and emissions measurement in the process, doubling the time a change should take. Really demonstrates the official Porsche centres often don't have a clue, but I wanted their stamp.
