Default RS quiet exhaust

Here is my solution for ”quiet” track days – I donīt have any measurement yet, but it is quiet, very quiet – I can hear noses from the engine I have never heard before.

Thinks it is an interesting idea. Wonder if you feel it during driving.

For some reason I'm thinking of the cars we had during the war. They had gas generators attached to the back of the car.

I don't wether to take that as a joke or just laugh at it.

No doubt putting extrta pipe onto the end of exhaust will cause the power to go in the wrong direction that performance would dictate.

But if the OP is SERIOUS and not kidding around then perhaps he should have one muffler go to the left and one to the right. Then concoct a metal wrap around the both and then give the peoject a professional paint job that matches the car.

Growing up in Southern California during the fast and Furious Honda/Acura/Toyota/et al days I was more obsessed with making my Prelude quieter with a performance exhaust because I hated the "Fart Can Sound" that didn't seem to give much performance to the four banger's of the time, Circa 1990-94.

Sad that you need such and abomination for a muffler..

But hey, Tesla is creating a spec series just for your idiotic track rules in your corner of the country...

It's a bit humid here but no sound limits and there's always a breeze, so no need for catalytic converters and such nonsense.

If you want to run at Laguna with a 90 db limit you have no choice.

BTW I still have them- pm me if you need them, going cheap just takes up room in my trailer.

What issue that knocks me off my horse the most. Then anyother is the impediment of Urban Sprawl. And since the house's were build too close to Lugna Seca and the owner's. And gee they realize that there is an Internationally Acclaimed Racetrack right next door. That darn racetrack is just to damn loud - and they have the money to Lawyer up and have restrictions aplied to the track except for Historics and other Gatherings. But the rest of the time better make sure the car quiet till then. Wish a maker of muffer's could over come this and make a quiet performanc muffler thay is able to deliver some sort of peer peeformance in exhaust just not deliver sounds over 90 db.

I know that this is sn issue rarely ran into this issue except for the Prestigious brands like Ma

Sadly not a joke, and obviously not been build to look cool, but in my country I can choose between 85 or 89 db tracks – So if you want to go on track you have to do something drastic or stay home !
