Country; DK - The funny part, I can drive to the track no problem, but to be able go on the track I need to bolt-on this extra exhaust. I install it instead of the exhaust tips (5 min, job).
Itīs not completely done – I will get a threaded rod and insert it to the tow hook hole, then make a hole in the “heat-plate” and place a nut on each side of the heat-plate, to support the weight of the system. This is why I have placed both exhaust that way.
What issue that knocks me off my horse the most. Then anyother is the impediment of Urban Sprawl. And since the house's were build too close to Lugna Seca and the owner's. And gee they realize that there is an Internationally Acclaimed Racetrack right next door. That darn racetrack is just to damn loud - and they have the money to Lawyer up and have restrictions aplied to the track except for Historics and other Gatherings. But the rest of the time better make sure the car quiet till then. Wish a maker of muffer's could over come this and make a quiet performanc muffler thay is able to deliver some sort of peer peeformance in exhaust just not deliver sounds over 90 db. I know that this is sn issue rarely ran into this issue except for the Prestigious brands like Ma
Unfortunately it's far more complicated than that. The surrounding land was already in private hands and was legally developable before the track got there. And, allegedly, the sound studies they did to get the permit were a joke. It'll all play out in court when the lease ends in about 15 years.
Good solution for a issue thats not going away. Its the same for airports, people move by them because hosuing is cheap then complain about the noise, this forces noise restrictions mean no fly times, special routings and increasing noise reg's on plane engines plus regs for extra insulation, double or triple glazing etc on any new build or renovations in the effected areas.
The last points on sound proofing housing should be push by the gov's for any local housing by tracks.
You only need simple turnaway pipes and an exhaust valve switch to blow 88 dB at Laguna.
A couple of years ago we could use turn-aways and lifting at microphone location, but it became common knowledge that people where cheating the system, so the authorities put up 3 or 4 microphones on both sides on the track, so lifting and turn-aways is not an option.
I'm impressed about your effort in doing that... If that's me I'd get a turbo s and put Trofeo Rs! No need for huge mufflers!
Last year I used my Turbo and it didn’tī had a problem with noise, but I think the RS is more fun on track, actually also off track. If the exhaust donīt give significant power loss and heat problems I will be happy.
This noise regulation and the extra microphones is really a pain.

Since when? I was just there a month ago and didn't have any issues with my GT3 running this setup.
