Saturday 4/16 at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway
Cost ~$300 for the day, open track, 9-5 with lunch break. Just want to cover some costs will lose $ on this :-)
No more than ~25 cars.
MUST have some track experience (basically be solo and comfortable on track and familiar with track etiquette)
We won't have instructors for total newbs

This will be a good test for the cooling of the Cayman track car.

 

I'll be at Big Willow the day before with "Hooked." Then driving straight to Splashtopia to drop the kids off. I'll be exhausted...that'll be my excuse for [EDIT: WHEN] I can't keep up with Martin .

Based on some of the times you were laying down at BW I don't think you have too much to worry about :-)

Besides he'll cord his tires by lunch.

 

Quick update: Track should confirm date Monday. Those who have sent me interest in the event will get an EMAIL from me early next week with payment instructions & logistics for the event.

If you expressed interest and did not send me your email address, please do so ASAP.

If you have interest in attending the event, please PM me your name, email address, and car type. This day will sell out, it's close already.

Lastly, it will be "first pay first in" for locking in a spot, so once I send the email, pay quickly as I'll need to shut it down when full. Any payments I receive after the day is full will be sent back. We are not making a penny on this, just want to cover the rental costs and maximize track space for all attendees.

In that case it would be nice if you send the email after typical 8-5 working hours.

Some of us have jobs such as mine where I'll be in the OR all day Monday without a break for fun stuff like this.

 

You don't do RL while in the OR? How dedicated are you?

 

For those traveling, Long Beach Grand Prix is on Sunday....gonna try to make it a full motorsport weekend by going to that after this trackday
