Lowly GT4 on June 13. Grindelwald, Le Mans, Ireland, Goodwood FoS, Ring, Spa trackday, and the last 4 days in Munich. Very concerned about how much weight I am going to gain...
Also concerned about the Ferry to Ireland regarding the ground clearance.

I'm driving the ring for an entire week the last week of June. BMW rented it out for five days. The first 3 days will be in an M2 then we can rent whatever we want for the last two days. One of my friends got the VIP invite and invited me to join him. The price is quite reasonable given how much ring time we are going to have. My wife and daughter are joining me after I'm done at the ring and we are picking up an ED Macan GTS on July 7 and spending a few more weeks in Switzerland and France. Would be great to get together with some other rennlisters at any point during the trip.

Which ferry will you take, and which itinerary?

Do not forget Le Mans Classic, this year!

We're taking the Irish Ferries "Oscar Wilde' leaving Cherbourg @ 12:30 on Monday after the race. I know that they don't have a good reputation, but it's the only line that fit our schedule.

Too bad, I could have helped you with a Brittany Ferry's ship.
My brother is a second captain of such a ship, and knows most of the officers.

Anyway, he advises to ask beeing with the OH (Over Height). This kind of vehicle are the last ones boarded, but the ramps have less angle.

He is used to board exotic cars, most of time without troubles.

Irish Ferries Ship Oscar Wilde is the best ship IMHO direct from France to Ireland. It's big , comfortable and better equiped and more stable than the others. I've traveled on it in my 997 GT3 RS with little difficulty, the loading officer and staff should notice you and as they said earlier put you on a lower deck. My advice is to drive up an entry to the ship at an angle.

Yesterday a group of 9 Irish 911s arrived by ferry back from a weekend in Wales on the Irish Ferries Swift Fast Ferry, no problems at all all!

If you want any advice as to what to do/go in Ireland PM me, I'm President of Porsche Club Ireland.

When are you coming and for how long, maybe you can join us at a PCI Event
