Not the ones I'm referencing.

I am not the expert but it may be easier to sell if it were returned to bone stock. I know for some of the purists (like me) here in northern CA, an all original car is the most desirable.

GLWS.
Agreed. The 4200 mile car is a much different sell than an original car with all OEM parts even with same mileage. While there are some nice aftermarket parts added to the car, some may not view that as added value. I like to purchase as close to original as possible. if the car still has all available original parts that would even the comparison to a 4200 mile car vs a 200 mile car. Then maybe some consideration to history. Either way it’s a fantastic car. I think a 10k depreciation is a very reasonable number for that preowned car.

Depends on the aftermarket parts. If it was exactly what I would have done, I would give a bit of consideration towards the prior owner's costs. If not, then it's a negative.

I finally received a letter from Porsche saying my carbon steering wheel is now available for my 2RS...I called and they said it's just an insert over the center part?? Anyone?

I brought mine in, they replaced the center cowling (plastic) with the carbon fiber. So it was a part for a part. If i read your question correctly..

i guess if you ordered a carbon wheel, it may be. Leather is what was ordered on mine.

it is just the spokes that are covered in CF. The wheel itself was only able to be ordered in (standard) Alcantara or optional Leather.

I bought my GT2RS in in August with about 300 miles, and I'm the 2'nd owner. The first owner took delivery in November 2018, and when I bought the car (a MOST EXCELLENT DECISION, I should add...) it was (lucky for me) already fitted with the CF spokes. Some friends, who bought their cars earlier, were very jealous that I already had mine.....

Also, the car was ordered with a leather steering wheel....which has turned out to be one of my favorite options.....

Yeah I spec'd leather on my GT2RS - looks great. I have Alcantara on my GT3RS but probably prefer the leather. Both great options but I agree, the leather is slightly preferred.

It’s the front cover of the three spokes.
