Already posted here in the ACR thread, and wasn't particularly well received.

I couldn't even finish it myself. Maybe appeals to a younger crowd?

I replied to their YouTube channel…

I said, nice first effort for a car shoot but it's exactly the kind of cars guys I despise. I told them less bro and more pro...

Default Front page coverage

Thought the front page crowd might want to give it a chance...

Agreed, these douche bags just ooze d-baggery. Typical santana row c&c crowd these days.

I don't understand why so many people are being hyper-critical and start calling these guys names like "dbags".

The guy on the video seems like a nice person. He doesn't take himself seriously (which I like) and he doesn't claim to be an expert of any sort. He is making the video for the fun of it with his friends.

I think it's very easy to criticize someone's work and look down on them. People have different tastes and different ways to enjoy their toys. The video seems well done and it was entertaining.

I agree there is too much "judging a book by its cover" going on. He seems like a nice guy, has a very inclusive of everybody attitude, and doesn't claim to have the ability to explain cars like Chris Harris.

But I don't like the videos either, because they don't cater to a knowledgeable / know their subject matter demographic. Or people who want to learn more. That's alll. In fact the videos might even be teaching the wrong things to young kids, but that's more a personal judgment. For all I know his demeanor is just an act to get more subscribers...

It's definitely nowhere near Motor Trend or Top Gear in terms of content and subject matter expertise.

But it's definitely one of the best amateur videos produced in youtube. It's much better than Smoking Tires, Shmee, etc in my opinion. All these amateur videos are bunch of guys talking on a gopro. This video had some money put in it.

I'm not sure if I'm the demographic or not (30), it just seemed like they were trying way too hard. I don't need to hear "****", or some version of it, every three words. Kick the volume down a notch, and don't act like someone just did some outrageous keg stand in high school, and it could be pretty good. Production quality was on par with almost any other high quality car show I've seen, good job there.

just because someone spends money on it doesn't mean it's worthwhile. These guys give me idiot shivers. I'm 35 so it's not like I'm "too old to get it"

like I said in the ACR thread-

get off my lawn.

Calling it a car show is a bit of a stretch!
That was painful for the short time I could stand watching.
