Suncoast sells it for $4250; claimed to be 33% discount to $6330 MSRP.

You can always go Braille as well.

Correct but what they fail to tell you is that the dealer will then charge you close to $200 to install it... That really annoyed me. That and the fact that I now own an electric paperweight.

Sorry to hear Alain. I would've done it for a bottle of Oban. Actually I would've done it gratis but hey, Oban...

Just order a battery from Braille. They still off er a Rennlist discount and it is only 10 lbs. and after much homework it is a great option - better than Porsche option

If ordered as part of the original configuration, installing the battery is part of the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) process, and should be done at no charge. I do not know of any dealer that charges a fee for PDI.

That's what I thought and discussed it with the dealer but they insisted this was not part of the delivery, even if it came in the car, in a box, when it arrived from the factory.

Luckily, Warren will do it for free - since I presume I can partake in the bottles I bring him....

No - but just make sure you do not let it run down. Expensive outcome. O bought a CTEK battery maintainer

Indeed. Mandatory in fact.

Porsche Lion battery automatically shuts down when it gets too low so it's pretty hard to kill that way. Does the Braille have same protection?

BTW, for anyone worried about LT storage the easy solution is to disconnect the negative lead. Been doing this for years and never an issue.
