Your car was delivered with a lead-acid battery under the frunk and a LiOn in the box. You need to get the dealer to install it.
thanks a lot, thats why it felt so light when i took out of the frunk, but i tought it was already installed... Can i install it myself? I dont think its that big of a deal or is it...?
I don't believe so. Somewhere in a thread, someone mentioned door speakers were left for alarms. That's it. As for the battery, yep, mine came as stated above.
I've asked my sales person at Beverly Hills Porsche several times and he had been unable to get me an answer. It has me little annoyed at this point as it has been almost 10 days or so. When i do get the answer i will post accordingly. 20lbs sounds right on the weight savings for radio and speakers. Its also nice having that space for stuff as i don't believe i will be using nav much in this car and when i want some tunes just play it off my cell. I will post pictures of the car soon
all good so this is how it plays out. the car when it went through PDI at the dealer the LI battery installed and they held on to the regular battery. not so fast i will be picking it up today.
Hi Robert. Nice to see you here. As I'm sure you know, this forum is awesome. You should post some pics of your gt3 RS. I'm sure everyone would love to see Miami Blue
