With 26,000 miles, mine still smokes every 5 or 10 starts. At the GT3 PEC visit last May, the technician said that GT3s are more prone to it than other 911s because the piston skirt is shorter.

If they sit for a prolonged period (week or so) they all do it. Stay Calm and Drive on.

Mine farts smoke at start up, seems less now that it has 5K miles on it

All of my Porsches smoked a little if they sat a little and so did my R8. I would be concerned if it did not

Both my GT3 and Mezger powered 997TT will occasionally have a little oil smoke on start up. Normal for these cars.
