Congratulations! Enjoy your drive in Germany, and post a few pictures, please. I am dreaming of driving ours on the Continent. If you want to drive one here in the US we will swap with you sometime! Enjoy in good health.

Nice choice. Looks great. Much better choice than a turbo 991.2 Carrera S

Used going over sticker there?

Well over sticker. Won't say exactly what I paid but was around 10%. I now have to decide what I do with my 991.2 4S order due in March/April.

Sofas are very comfortable but there are an indefensible 18Kg more, which would be ok if you can buy the Clubsport seats (which apparently you can't) so simpy buy a Clubsport take out the roll cage save another 25 Kg

No prob. Don't need an exact price. Was just wondering how the used market was over there in general.

.2 order? Pass on it of course. I'm sure someone will pick it up. The car hasn't even been built yet.

Can you also shed some light on the Euro dealers? They're all owned by the auto companies? Not franchised like the US.? Pricing negotiable?

Thanks.

Not sure, but I though they were from the Tequipment range. I will find out.

I actually want the sofas. Even though they weigh more, I don't really care because its not as if the extra weight is going make any great impact. Besides, I just don't see the point of fitting buckets to a car that will spend only 10-15% of it's time on a track. So for me the sofas are perfect.

It's a franchise system like many other countries although the majority in Belgium are own by one big dealer.

By law, dealers are not allowed to sell new cars over MSRP. You can negotiate a discount. Most people manage to get 4-8% discount on a new Porsche.

On the other hand, they can sell used ones for whatever they like. At the moment used GT3s are selling for 10-30% over MSRP. Used GT3 RSs are going for 30-50% over MSRP. Some guys are trying to flip there RSs for 100,000 euro over MSRP.

Perhaps that was historically so, but I don't believe for a second that 80% of current GT3/RS (991) owners take their car to the track. The buyers have changed, and with them the way the GT3 is utilized.
