At MSRP = ZERO At $80k to $100k++ over probably a dozen or two is my guess. Our buddies at Auto Gallery are now sitting on 8 "pre-owned" RSs. Focking stealer.

I always found it interesting that RSs aren't usually painted in metallic colors.

Oh I'm sure they'll have a $400k+ price tag. haha Btw, they've been sitting on this UV car for 3-4 months now...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-911-...m=371565394863

They had it listed for $399,999 but I guess they couldn't find a sucker...errr buyer at that price so they lowered to $369,999. Quick hurry before it's gone. haha

Default Production number mistery

This one is a little bit of a mistery, or more likely I am not getting something.

I have for a positive evidence the VIN number of two RS built as ROW in July 2015 and March 2016, respectively.
The first is 185378, the second 189792 ... Problem is they are over 4400 numbers apart: did they built over 4500 RS in the MY 2016 already??
That would be huge and much higher than initially speculated.

Any inputs from insiders?

They do not use all numbers in that range.

ROW VIN series seems to start with either 85061, 88061 or 89061. Not sure how many there are in each series.

Thanks, Anders.

I see that for USA they have used for sure the 87061 lot and maybe the 86061.

A friend has 85318 from August 2015 production and it has an engine number over 900 already.

The US VINs I've seen have all been in the 92xxx range but I guess there are others.

The US cars started using 187xxx vins and then in September changed over the 192xxx. They don't use the first 060 or so vin numbers. It looks like they use the same general format for the ROW cars but with different prefix and the ZZZ.

I think there will be more than that but who knows. If they starting building 125+ cars a month then they will pass 1000 by July. And if they build until September or later as some say?

Hi Loess & MJones. Any update on this data? It looks like July deliveries have been healthy so curious is the 1100 mark has been breached yet?
