Default Being offered a GT3 RS allocation for 70K over MSRP...

Hello all,

I thought I would just shoot out a quite post seeing that I have not been following the GT3RS talk as closely as the other threads since I figured I would never be offered an allocation. I was however offered an allocation by a dealer for 70k over MSRP. To those that have received their RS and those waiting... would you take it at this stage in the game?

Thanks in advance for your posts.

If you want the car really bad, go for it. Is the allocation configurable or is it locked up? I had 3 cars offered to me ranging from $75k to $100k over that I passed on.

The car is fully configurable. Are the PTS allocations closed? I haven't asked about that yet.

Oh nice, so you don't have to take a poor/highly configured car. I believe that the PTS window is closed for 2016 cars.

I think $75 over seems to be about average of what is offered. Not sure what actual transactions are. At least you can configure it. I was told there are no PTS options available now.

Please PM me if configurable allocation out there for 50-75 over. I'm an idiot that paid 6 digits over as I hadn't had P car in 20 years.
Spec on mine awesome, I'm in below "market", but I'd swap to decrease cost basis and drive crap out of it same way, just less depreciation.
Car underpriced. No way is it less money than TTS. Should be 250-260 loaded. Really shocked me after my GT3 I had interim. Maybe not worth 2x GT3, but as good as my Speciale.
Track something to quote Trakcar

Based on all the stuff, If you have to have one you are going to pay at least 75K over for a used one. That's a decent deal based on current market value and you get to have exactly what you want.

Configurable that's a good deal. Even more so if you go light on the options as most are 215 MSRP specced by stealers.

OP: Under the current condtions that is a decent offer, commit at 50k and work with them from that point. No one really knows with Porsche but so far they are keeping RS production tight, my fear is that if you decide to wait for future allocations you are not 100% certain you can get one.
