Black Christmas

Black Christmas
This morning I got up before anyone else in the family - a neat trick given one very excited 11 year old in the house - and went out for a short but lovely drive in my best ever Xmas present. It's just a used car, but to us it's a pretty special one. Not exactly what we were seeking, it lacks only two options we wanted and it turns out we love it.
Our first Porsche, first two-seater in 12 years, third black car! It's a huge thrill to drive - as you all know - and I look forward to learning it thoroughly. It's intended as a genuine grand tourer, perhaps with occasional track visits.
In wishing everyone here the very best of the season and all your own desires for the new year, I will also thank you for convincing me into the 991, and providing a wealth of useful knowledge and entertainment since I joined Rennlist and began the hunt that ended with this prize...and probably continues to the next one. I hope to meet many of you in person down the road.

Silver to black. Silver are the factory 20s and have the super sticky Dunlops that are not great under 15C. Those are now stored. I wanted a set of Michelin PSS' for normal use so I put on them on the BBS' until I go near a track. Wrong way around as the lighter wheels have the more prosaic tyres on them, but it will all shake out with th next sets of rubber. I got the wheels and tyres from SupremePower - thanks Eric.
Thanks all.
