Default GT3+wheel spacers...??

Is anyone running wheel spacers on their GT?

I see Porshe offers spacers from the factory so clearly they don't have an issue with it.

If you are running spacers, what size?

Thanks.

You get longer wheel bolts with spacers but you can't make the center lock any longer.

I seriously womder the following. I don't know much about TTS

TTS has wide body like rs
TT body like gt3
are the turbos on five lugs?
of so, will turbo upright fit gt/rs
if so, I'm converting mine

this was the case with 997.2 CL
hey can run turbo uprig, all dimension remain same before or after conversion, but u are now on wheels studs, u can run spacers as u wish.

RS has same body width as both TT & TTS ...GT3 is somewhat narrower (28mm) - no scoops

If you don't care for the stock offset, just buy some aftermarket wheels.

Will likely do so. Thinking either HRE or ADV1.

But for now I'm enjoying the stock wheels and letting my wallet cool before making some more big purchases. lol!

I personally hate spacers - always had problems with vibration when I used them on my m3. From that point forward, I've been a strong advocate of using different wheels to achieve the desired offset.

BTW, IMO, I would not put ADV1 and HRE in the same category. Read up on 360 Forged, which was ADV1's old name, and some of the funny business they pulled on claiming TUV certification (there was a big thread on m3post a few years back). I have no stake in this, other than friendly advice. Go HRE or BBS or the like.

Thanks! I had no issues with spacers thus far. But I would agree that best practice is to have a wheel with the appropriate offsets.

And appreciate the insight on ADV1. I know they've had some serious growing pains, but didn't know they were lying about their TUV certs.
