Great color. I think it's Y97 slate gray if not a wrap. I would have probably ordered this color for my RS if I had a way to verify what it actually looked like before my color locked.
Tough to tell although slate grey is a real possibility. The picture was made under fluorescent lights. If the photographer (or the publisher for that matter) did not color correct the picture we may be seeing a different hue than what we would see under the sun.
No, I don't think so. 'Grey Black', color code 7A1, is darker!
The 991 Turbo in the background is 'Slate Grey/615'...

Let's see what Daniel (Less than 3mph) has to say. He knows
'Fashion Grey' in all variety of light conditions, including dark
subterranean garages! But even in the shade, I think that
'Fashion Grey' is too light to look like the OP's gt3 in that
garage!

Not 'Grey Black'...and I am thinking it's not 'Fashion Grey' either!

Remember this photo provided by Melissa Witek of 'Porsche Exclusive'?
If we go by Melissa's photos, I would say that Jon70 is probably right!
But who knows? That lighting on the OP's Autogespot photos is terrible.
I saw those photos when they were still upside down on Autogespot. My impression was slate grey too. Definitely not fashion grey (which is lighter). Here is a photo of slate grey from the museum under what I would assume would be similar lighting conditions fwiw.
I'm hoping NORTH DRIVE can chime in too. He knows a lot about slate grey Y97. If I had to guess, I'd say the GT3 is 615 (as it looks a little darker than I imagine Y97 would), but I'm no expert and photos may be misleading.

Not entirely sure if I've uploaded these pictures properly but I'm pleased to share these photos that I've discovered (after what seems to be over 100 hours of research) of the Porsche Exclusive 991 Turbo Cabriolet that has been confirmed as being Slate Grey (y97). It seems to almost have a light purple / blue tint which changes in different light.
I opted for the lighter slate grey (Y97) - I wanted more of a contrast with the black exterior accents. I also went with LWBs, black leather, yellow stitching and belts. I'm very excited to see this colour in person - Delivery scheduled for February, too long.
Cheers,
Rob
Here's a photo of Y97 that NORTH DRIVE posted. It seems lighter to me than the GT3 (add extra large grain of NaCl here).
Whatever it is on that GT3, it is a wonderful shade of grey!!
I had slate grey on my last turbo. It was metallic slate grey so that will throw the color off from a non metallic. My turbo had a brown and green in the color depending on light. Also I believe one of the tuner companies has a 991tt that is a non metallic slate grey and it shows very green tint in pictures. This color above doesn't look like slate of those 2 but it might be the light. I do like the color a lot and would love to see more of the gt3.
