There is 660 ish for NA and around 400 or so are already here and the rest coming in 2016.

After the 660 no allocations slots for NA have been confirmed.

That's what I was told. Don't hold me to it.

Correction... The unit count was for the Western US or what PCNA refers to Area West.

660 US seems low compared to the 1900 WW produced for the 997.1RS. Normally US gets about 50% of WW production. US got more than average of the 991gt3 because demand was here and dollar is also in demand.

That probably means that there will be more allocations opening up. As long as demand is there. And it definitely feels like dealers still have buyers banging on the door.

Makes more sense if PAG/VW only makes 1800-2000 units worldwide.

For a second, some people thought they'd sell less .1RSs than 997RS 4.0s in the US.

Both the 950 and originally quoted 600ish jive if one considers the 918 VIP program (assuming those allocations didn't count against the commoners' allocations. Nonetheless, in my mind 950 units seems like a high enough number as to not deserve such dealer markups for a $176k+ niche car. Clearly supply is adequate as there are cars with market adjustments sitting around, but the pricing model practice is preventing deserving customers to own one as PAG intended.

They should make it a even number, say 1000 units and give one at MSRP to Martin.

Will be around 1000 for US. If the extend production till 2016 September could be around 1200. Also China's allocation should be re sign to euro and NA.
