How worried should I be about this spark plug?
Hey, so building on the fairly current "RECALL" thread, my MY16 had the TSB for coils and plugs performed on it. The dealership sent me pics of the plugs. How concerned should I be for the plug that shows its core insulator broken off?

I think the question is should he be worried by the missing ceramic insulator and possible damage to the engine internals.... as per Nam Vets experience where his engine needed rebuild.
No conclusions can be made from the colour and mixture, idling, traffic etc can effect the plugs- you need to do a hard run and chop to read anything into it and this is old hat now with dyno's, knock sensing EGT readings etc.

Here are my plugs, changed out at 11,038 miles because I am about to drive the car to Florida. 1,626 of these
miles were on the track. They look pretty good to me, certainly no fouling it was time to change them as I won't be back home for about 4,000 miles and I prefer having my home dealer service the car.
