I don't think there is anything quite as capable on the track like the GT3/RS that is also as full street legal car.....this would be close but I don't see the Lambo's brakes holding up, just like the 458 Special, its brakes faded after 10 laps.....again, this is all considering you are taking the cars completely stock to the race track.

Well,
I have to admit I think I will be visiting the Lambo Dealership just to sniff around. Back in 2013 I bought a 2011 R8 V10 Spyder from them with 2000 miles and got a great deal( Bought in Dec). Sat in my garage for 4 months, drove it for 4 months and then traded it for a 2014 GT3 allocation.
I know that some people have already ordered a 580-2 for $210,000 lightly optioned( need to add taxes and delivery). This has peaked my interest for ~3000 lbs, 580 HP, rear wheel, NA, Cannon.
I would take this all day long over the new 570S. Not willing to go back to a Turbo engine until I am forced to.

Lambo quotes dry weights. The 580-2 is not a 3,000lb car. Closer to 3,400.

My wife and I attended the Lamborghini Accademia at the Circuit Americas in Austin. It was extremely hot, but even after beating on the 610-4 for 8 hours with 115 degree track temperature I was surprised not see at least one car go down. We had 10 cars and 15 drivers so the cars were pushed non stop, and they had to be fueled 3 times through out the day. It was a true testimony of what the cars were capable of, enough so I no longer have a GT3

The new lambos are fun.
Not sure i really care if it is 2wd or awd for the street..
The price point will give ferrari a run for its money!
Im holding out for the 960

I preferred a GT3 when offered the RS .1 at MSRP Jan2015
RS is not worth 50k over the GT3 for me
1st deposit for RS.2 at my dealer , they can t go wrong twice or i will go McLaren or Ferrari and you can take also this one

With the exception of not being able to see out of it, I like the Huracan. I really loved my Aston as it was understated - I just wish they would catch up with the rest of the world in regards to performance and reliability. Almost every review says that the car "isn't as fast, doesn't handle as well as, etc," and then follows it up with "but that's not why you buy an Aston."
Correct, but that's why I'm not buying another Aston.
Compete with other marques on power, handling and reliability and I'd consider it again.
