I asked the service centre and they told me I would get a phone call right away, since PAG informs each dealer right away on which cars have the problem.

My June build 2016 GT3 arrived at the dealer this week (Woot!) and I was told yesterday the TSB applies to my car.

They are claiming the two are related. I kind of roll my eyes at that, but the GM was telling me this issue is something wrong that impacts the electrical system in the car - yeah, thanks for the specifics. "We are 99% sure this TSB will fix the paddle shifter".

So... we'll see. Call me super skeptical.

My take is the Ecu update for mid range oil pressure will happen for all cars. The coils being changed due to a batch of faulty coils I can understand. If the plugs are same design, just switch them out as they may be fouled,ok as well. But if the plugs are a different design then why change on such a small number of cars.

What's the problem with your paddle Dr. Jupeman

Left downshift paddle starting working intermittently around 1000 miles and outright stopped working around 2000 miles.

And they think the recall for coils/sparks and an oiling Ecu flash is going to fix an electrical signaling issue??

Im real interested to see that

Dr Jupeman ,
I'd be curious enough to ask to see the 6 plugs they take out. With hearing stories about damaged plugs, I would want to see them.

Yeah. I was told they think the re-flash, which will involve the PDK controller, will fix the problem. We'll see...

Good call, I will or at least ask that I can photograph them in case they claim they want to send them to Porsche or some such (Porsche likes to keep these things under wraps, right?).
