I couldn't believe it when I saw the company-McLaren and RS!

Tremendous result for the GT4!!! Just a comment: Evo's methodology gives equal weighting to all 9 reviewers, and some readers may tend to favour the opinions of certain individuals, guys like Jethro for example (and I'm not just saying that because he gave the GT3 first place in 2013!). In this comparison, it was solely Goodwin's "outlier" 4th ranking for the Macca that gave the edge to the GT4. In any case, it's clear the GT4 and 675LT are at the top of the heap, and everyone agreed RS was 3rd. I wonder why they weren't quite as impressed with the RS, and how the GT3 would compare for that matter. Looking forward to reading the full article.

it's entire based on road driving. i.e. canyons and the best of british/european roads and they test for a week including pro drivers like the Franchitti brothers.
so while an RS may be superior on track, the road driving conducted by EVO on empty highland roads basically gives no weighting to track driving where cars will be pushed much harder.
I guess if you want track style driving then look no further than motor trend, c&D or autocar in the UK. but then again, dedicated race cars on slicks always rule especially radicals..........

EVO has a Track Car of the Year test too, upcoming.
Re the 991 RS, this quote likely sums it up: "What a car" he exclaims. "It almost has too much grip for road driving, though." Exhibit A re the 911R's reason for existence.
Probably not fair play to have 3 Porsches, but I wish the Boxster Spyder could have made it out- stood a chance to humble them all IMHO.

Probably not fair play to have 3 Porsches, but I with the Boxster Spyder could have made it out- stood a chance to humble them all IMHO.
