I drive a Miata ( the nc variety that the other poster hates) I really love it. I have owned a lot of cars, including some big ticket ones and the manual miata really can rival them all for fun and driving dynamics!! It is the "driving a slow car fast" type fun!! I have a 15 TTS that I am selling in preparation for my GT3 to arrive. I can easily afford to keep the TTS and GT3, but I am afraid that the GT3 will feel less special to me if I become accustomed to the TTS. Yes I am fully aware of the differences ( I have already owned a 14 GT3). I went thru these thoughts as winter approaches, and I tried to convince myself the TTS with good winter tires will be as effective as a 4wd vehicle!!
I am currently considering a different DD car, due to the loud interior noise in the Miata ( I speak on the phone almost continually) and also the RWD issue, being I live in the northeast snow belt. Funny though, when I was 18, and everyone drove RWD cars, I wouldn't think twice about winter use. Gosh how I and the times have changed!!

Wow are we all lucky, great concerns to have!!!!

I don't hate it,it's heavier and drives differently.
Mazda admitted their mistake and went back, with the ND,to what made the Miata the most popular sports car of all times.

I just picked up the new Tacoma and I love it for DD. They have changed the fuel injection system so you can now left foot brake and the interior options have everything I need. I use to have a Cayenne GTS and it was just too nice. I never felt comfortable offroad and towing was just not stable compared to a pick up. The Tacoma is nice but I not overly so. Great to beat around and not worry about rocks and brush scuffing her up. Now if I could just find a Nice C2 964...........

Getting ready to buy a 2016 Honda Pilot. It can carry 4 tires with ease. I was using my 991 GT3 but my commute is pretty short in downtown Seattle. Traffic can be nutty and with all the distracted driving around I worry about diminished value. Keeping our 2006 Lexus hybrid SUV 115K miles which can also carry 4 tires.
We are getting into our rainy season now too.

I don't daily anything, but if I was in the market I would look at the incoming RS4, GT4 and C63 AMG. If they bring the RS4 Avant to the US I would get rid of one of our Macans for one in a heartbeat.

Is it the newest one that just came out? Those are pretty nice. Hard to find a vehicle that you can abuse that will hold value better than Tacoma. I dd a 14 cayenne tts. Sometimes I wish I had something I didn't car about near as much.

Had one for 8 months, got rid of it. It was a fun and fast car to drive but I began to question why I had two sports cars. So I got this.

all the Audi RS cars are awesome...if I was going to drop $100k on a daily driver sedan, I would probably go that route

M6 compare the M4 , you don't feel the extra weight ruin the handling?

Thank you, it's called Moonstone. It's a "individual" color.

Yes, that is my E36 M3 track car. In some ways, its more fun than the GT3 on the track.

The M4 and the M6 are in two different hemispheres. When I owned the GT3 and the M4, I missed the luxury appointments provided by the M5 which I had prior to the M4. This is why I ordered it. I could put a baby seat in it if necessary, and it's comfortable and quiet. Plus, I put a really cool intake and JB4 on it. The spooling is louder than the exhaust and it should be around 650hp. In regards to handling, there is no comparison. The M4 is very light feeling and I wish I got a chance to track it, but the M5/M6 do feel heavy and that has always been it's biggest complaint. However, for me, I already have a car that handles exceptionally well so I enjoy my M6 as a cruiser.

Was driving a 350z as DD but, decided to let her go and pick up a 2014 Cayenne GTS as it's NA and only had 7.7k mi. It's so comfortable and, when I want to go, it will go. It handles surprisingly well in the twisties when sport button is activated versus comfort mode. The GT3 remains a nice weekend and occasional week day car. I may give my girl the Cayenne in whch case, I'll have to figure out my daily driver situation again. Maybe fish around for a GT4 allocation for next year?

Dan (at just shy of 12k mi after almost a year on GT3)
