Thanks everyone for chiming in!
At a high level I am thinking leather seats with red stitching, front axle lift, navigation, heated seats, adaptive sport seats (18 way), black led headlights PDLS which is bringing the price point to 150k before sales tax!
It's a big jump from my 75k M3. My another dilemma is to whether keep my low miles M3 or trade/sell. If I do decide to keep her against my wife's wish, then the only way I can keep both M and P car is by installing a bendpak lift in my 2 car garage as wife's Mini Countryman also needs garage space
Too many things to consider...it's always been easier for me to make non cars related decisions in life quickly
Thoughts ??

Guys,
Guess I was too optimistic about getting an allocation for a 2016 gt3 with my local dealer.
One mistake I did was not reaching out to other dealers for last 6 months and just following up with my local dealer.
After getting frustrated I emailed each and every single dealer in U.S (took me 4 hours non stop to type up all those emails 😔, only to find out that only 4 on ground all on west coast and every one of them has a premium of Atleast 35k and 4 inbound but all pre sold !!!!!

I couldn't sleep all night yesterday but never bought a used car in my life before. Wanna save used car market for ferraris in future !!!

I would buy a low mile used gt3 in a heartbeat. No reason not to if it checks out. Still has plenty of warranty.
And like someone said, it will most likely have a clear bra and bypass exhaust thrown in...

I think I will wait until it's official that 2016 gt3 models are completely done in terms of production which some say may continue till the first quarter of 2016.
I guess am testing my luck too hard here 😔

I emailed all the 200+ dealers in U.S to find out there are none to be build as all the inbound models are pre sold😔

I recently bought a lightly used 2015 GT3, CPO. No hesitation. I also have a pair of 6MT E46 M3s, one a slightly modified 02 and the other a stock CS/ZCP. E9x never appealed to me for a variety of reasons. The GT3 is the logical move forward, though I am keeping the M3s, and in fact enjoying them even more for having the GT3. They are different cars, special in different ways, all incredibly enjoyable. You may pay a bit over MSRP at the moment, so be sure you get one with the options you want. Consider it the price of not having to wait, and getting extra warranty. It's worth the money. Abstractly, it's hard to really justify any car at these price points as good value, but it truly is. I have only driven one car that struck me as all around "better" - the McLaren - but that seems a worse value proposition and less accessible in a number of ways. I have never met an M3 enthusiast who didn't love their GT3.

I too did something similar to you a couple months ago, except I did all the dealers in the northeast area, and was able to get an allocation, but one thing I heard was similar to you where some were saying that there were rumors of possible production extending to Q1
