The boxes are used by several teams. Co-operation is a good thing.
Refurbishing slicks
Pit walk
On the way to formation lap.
Pit walk
Porsche Cup with big diffusor
Not sure what happened to our box neighbour but they worked super hard to get the car ready for race.
Many rolls of tape was used. Everyone helped. Even the drivers: They run down the pitlane with tape rolls in theirs hands. Everyone cheered when they made it.
Clothes and helmet was really heavy after the race.
Well deserved

Unfortunately not, plan was to drive the car (Cayman GT4 Cup) on Friday morning on the GP track, but that did not work out. So next year I will start my attempt to get the permit for 24h race! Thank you for sharing your experience, this is very helpful as this is quite a task....
The Schmickler Team with my friend and instructor Kai Riemer did a amazing job and finished first with a Cayman GT4 Cup, watch the last lap, from 7:46:00. That's racing!

Yes, I watched this particular lap yesterday. Amazing! (Loved how p**sed Jens was)
BTW: The Nürburgring Academy might be a good short cut depending on your current licens situation.
If I remember correctly you can do a one day course for 800€ the day before the Quallification race for N24 and after that you have Permit B. Then you do the Quallification race and if you succeed you have Permit A just in time for N24.

Just found this clip from the VLN8 and I must say that this is a really good example of how it is driving in one of the lower classes in VLN.
He is fighting hard in his Opel Calibra to overtake a BMW E30 (I guess it is an 325).
My experience was that it was a bit like we in the slow cars where driving in a separate dimension from those in the fast cars.
I didn't cars so much about the fast ones - they you just ignore (or make it easy for them to decide on which side to pass you).
Sometimes fast and slow cars are in the same dimension - not so good
This fight in this video gives me that isolated feeling: It is just you and the guy infront of you - everything else is more or less ignored.
