Curious what you didn't like about your original wheels?
I do like the factory wheels, but I'm going to used them for track time only. I like aftermarket wheels, I have one vehicle with factory rims, my F450.
Uprights in black look great! I'm going the same route when mine arrives. What tools are needed to lower suspension?
Thanks, lowering is simple, corner balancing takes a bit longer. Basically, jack car up, remove wheels and use 2 coilover tools to adjust the factory coilovers..

Thanks again for the info on lowering. Would be interested to hear about any rubbing when you track it on stock wheels. I suspect it was only an issue on Nurbergring and similar profile tracks.
Thanks to all. Like I said earlier, I like weird stuff. I'm a huge fan of early Trans Am's and 454SS trucks. I have 3 of each. My Brewster green '73 Trans Am was built by Detriot Speed for Sema. It has their full catalog under it including a 678hp LSX 427 and a TR6060 6spd My red '73 I've owned for 15 years has a Butler 462ci w/ TKO 600 5spd, the white '72 is a restored 455 Ho 4spd. I'm currently building on one of my 454SS trucks. It's getting a 408 LS with twin 67 turbosdde00.
Yes, your garage is what I want. Almost like a man cave/hangout with all my cars in it. Unfortunately, the home we are building does not allow for that but I do have space for two lifts. Enjoy your rides buddy!!!

Thank you.
It finally stopped raining here so I pulled it out and took a few pics.
Looks good. Id be interested to hear how you go with any rubbing on the wider rubber. Seems like an issue with the stock wheels from what we are hearing at least on fast road and track.
Though, curious... Why not leave the uprights in silver to coordinate with the wheels. P
Either way it looks bad ***! Silver wheels with the UV is the only way to go IMO.
Well done.
Thanks, the wing is obnoxious enough, I think the blk uprights help tone it down..

I am getting alignment done tomorrow so we shall see. I'm hoping smooth withsmooth tracks like COTA, there will be minimal rubbing. I'm sure at Texas World Speedway, it will rub. Again, I don't plan to track this car a lot, that's what I have my Cayman and ZR1 for..
