I think I'm bias on that one but the C63 S coup gets it!
Definitely more HP but a wider rear end that was lacking in the previous model. Should be a nice head to head on the track. Can't wait to see comparisons!
BMW has moved the focus of their top engineers to electric. M is suffering. I'd prefer the C63 over an M3/M4 in this generation because it's a more fun car to drive, more luxurious, and better audio. Seems silly since my DD is a X5M right now (I convince myself it works out because I tow the track with it). Hoping BMW pulls out of this nose dive. (still buying GTS though...)
I had a 2015 M3....it sucked....could only assume the merc is better
This.
I would pick neither.
How on earth are people attracted to this new junk being put out from Germany? Especially when you can pick up a great car like the E92 BMW M3. Makes zero sense.
BMW M lost me many years ago. Too swoopy, too soft, too mainstream. The synthetic engine/exhaust sound through the speakers was one of several WTF moments with BMW M.
I think AMG is just more exciting and fun. Its like the BMW M designers are a bunch of old men and the AMG designers are a bunch of kids. Snortier sounds from engine and exhaust, snap crackle pop on shift, so much torque and sound and fun. More like muscle cars. Fun.
Aside from the fact that the M4 is available with a manual, the C63 is the winner. I do think the M4 has a more sporty and coherent design, but the C63 seems more exciting with a V8, better sound, and nicer interior, albeit an ugly navigation screen.
