I have red belts, full leather and red stitching on my agate gt3. I also got the steering column in red stitched leather. I love the look. Had no desire for sports chrono.

Jon- looks like we have very similar builds. Thanks everybody for the feedback. I locked red stitching and no SC.

Red stitching is the best! When is your completion date?

I don't have a completion date yet but the dealer thinks it will probably be in Jan. When do you get yours, Sal? Sapphire Blue?

My completion date is Nov 6. I switched back to white (red stitching & belts, LWBs) at the last minute. Should have the car at year-end, which is the same time my '15 was delivered last year.

Living with my 2015 for 10k and no PCCB's I feel they are a MUST and may move mine if I get the right replacement.

I'd would vote for the Sport Chrono, not because of how it looks, but because it includes the Track Precision App. While not perfect, it is a very convenient way to collect data and have a video with overlays. Much easier to setup than the AIM or vBox systems, just mount your phone and go.

If you don't track your car or prefer another data logging system, then the decision comes down to pure cosmetics.

I Added the Sport Chrono w/ Track precision App. to my RS. Why?
1. IMHO, the Clock improves the looks of the bland dash on my GT3 and Panamera S (and now my RS)
2. I find it to be sufficiently useful even without Track Precision App to justify its purchase.
3. The 1% additional cost is likely (IMHO) to yield more than 1% additional buyers on eventual resale.
4. I like the idea of integrating performance recording into the basic car rather than using add-ons.
5. Although the App may not be perfect now, it is likely to be updated and improved over time.

So, yes, not having it would be a big deal for me.

But admittedly I'm in the minority here.

Congrats on the car.
Nothing wrong with liking it.....if I had my way the clock would be gone and I would have gotten track app as a stand alone. However, after using it the system isn't horrible and works.....there are just faster, and simpler systems available that work and can transfer data better.
