Yes,I totally agree. I have heard of more issues with the 9A1 based GT3 engine than with the regular 9A1. Porsche even states that the regular 9A1 engine can perfectly sustain track use,yet that doesn't change the fact it has an integrated sump and not a true dry sump.

That is what mooty is saying. Race car may be delivered with a true dry sump. We shall see.
Can you point me to a Pdf of that technical guide? Would love to read through it.

The engine will be the same engine used in the street car.
Replacements will be off the shelf from your dealer. (or wrecked GT4s lol)
Race car gets a mechancial diff and deletion of luxury electonics.

sorry I was not clear
since this thread is gt4cup, when I said gt4 I meant cup
I'll refer them to street and race car now
the street car which I have is NOT dry dump
the race car is not as similar to street car as u may think
it MAY have dry sump.
I don't know yet
I don't believe in any manual or pdf or whom said what
I believe when I see he car in my rack :-)

Yes,the whole confusion started because I thought you were referring to the GT4 street car. The race version might end up to be different,as I've stated in my previous post. For now, according to Porsche,we only know the race car will be using the same engine(reworked or not,it's not specified),making 385HP,just like the street car.
