Default How do I track my car in transit?

Sorry for the dumb question but dumped my RS back to Zuffenhausen last week and would like to be able to track it on its way over to Canada. I notice people here have some site where it can be tracked. I would be grateful for any guidance.

I'd like to know this, too. I was able to do this for Euro Delivery on my BMW, but ultimately someone (dealer?) needs to know what ship it is on...

Dealer will know which ship it gets put on, once you have that info you can follow on marinetraffic.com

Once the ship is out of range, this thread helped me in the past:

^ What he said. Wish it was like BMW where you can log in to see production status (and avoid annoying your dealer), but it still requires a call to check on dates and get a vessel name. Then you can do yourself until it gets to port. It will be there ~7-10 days for PDI, then onto a truck to your dealer - during this time you are back to having to call to monitor progress.

Like others have stated, get the name of the ship your car is loaded on, then track it. You can also use vesselfinder.com. In addition, you can track the vessel by logging onto the arrival port's website as it gets closer to the final destination. Mine only took about 5 days from arrival at port to dealership, but it may be up to 10 days (no way to track that). Congrats and happy tracking!

Hope the weather is mild enough there that you get some drives in before the snow.

I doubt if it will be here in time to get any pre winter runs. Still at least I managed 4700km and three tracks on the ED run.

Being I've never owned a 7 RS and I believe you have, how do you compare the two RS's?
