PS. Were you driving with max aero? What speeds did you reach on the straight? On the speedo, not gps.

 

That’s a great lap!

the granturismo was a great event. Lost the last afternoon due to a red flag and my car leaking gearbox oil.

I am not sure if I will get the chance to improve my laptime this trip but I’m have to plateau for a while.
Made a lot of progress this trip so far, but only two days left at the Ring..
The next 15 seconds will take me another 100 laps. (I need to add up to see how many I’ve done.)

Max aero and I got to. 175 mph GPS, or 280 kph but I live never looked down.
From what I can see the speedometer is very accurate.

 

Short Tesla update: it manages section trading and one lap of free driving. Recharge to 80% during lunch then section training and one lap free driving.

Not bad.

Must remember that this was e pretty wet day.

Very good event. Today with the AMGs the instructors were notable. Karl Wendlinger (former F1 driver), Bernd Maylander (DTM and drives the F1 safety car, Bernd Schneider (DTM champ among many other things)... Karl led TRAKCAR and I around the GP circuit for the morning. First lap "warm up" was quite quick and got faster from there.

Same comment on instructors for the SH course in general. Lots of well know current and former name drivers with direct feedback. Top shelf event.

Amazing day: Mother Nature plays tricks with us. Says it is a 95% risk of rain, a lot of it. And instead gives us warm, cold, warm, a few drops of water and then warm and finally ending the day with warm German hot dogs at the Scuderia Hanseat BBQ.

Wow look at all those AMG GTR's! I did a AMG school at Road Atl and got to briefly drive one...they are nice. I fit better in my GT3 though but interesting different driving feelings.

The peer pressure.. Got a ride yesterday from Kobalt in my car..
Besides that he knows every inch of the track, he drives like a pro driver. Holy ****, I have a lot to learn!
