I'd get lift. Other than the cost no real downside. Weight doesn't affect performance unless you're a super-pro driver IMHO.
I'm surprised that you say the lift gives you 1 1/2" of lift when the manual states only 1.18" (30mm). I don't have the lift, so I can't check.

The lift is one of the best options on the GT3.

My thought exactly.

And as far as I'm concerned, the GT3 wouldn't be a choice for a daily driver for me...so even less of a reason to get the lift.

I think this is a great DD and have no worries in scrapping the nose when driving the twisties but ripping off the front when doing 5mph is another thing.
Even getting onto to Sonoma Raceway can cause scrapping with no lift due to the down ramp. Lift for me.

I'm sure it is for some peeps... But for me and my job I prefer something larger and quieter. I also don't want to pull up to clients in a Porsche. Additionally, I have colleagues and clients in my car somewhat regularly.
So for me, the perfect DD is an M5. Gives me the sport I want, room for 4 and it's not too bad in terms of not standing out and not grabbing too much attention. Which I personally don't want for my daily.

From lip is a wear item to me, but I'll probably only replace it if I sell

Does anyone know the front lifter weight when fitted to the car? 25lbs extra?

Get the lift, I only drive my car on weekends, and still couldn't get anywhere without the lift.

Good thoughts- seeing it _ I think i'll just replace a lip. I have a painted aero lip on the 997TT that i've kept clean so I think I should be fine w/o.
