2016 Signal Green GT3 RS Build Specs

Opps! I mistakenly used the B2G time of the 997.2 GT3. The 991 GT3 did it in only 7:25. So, only 5 seconds slower than the RS. Which makes much more sense. So.... the maths work out to an advantage of only 1.2 seconds at Thunderhill.
I'm not crazy!

Just as a point of reference, the track record (SCCA) at Thunderhill on the "3 mile" bypass is:
DSR class 1:35.882 107.6 Chris Farrell Salt Lake City UT, CA 2008 Stohr WF1 3/30/2012
Our own hometown hero, Mike Hedlund did a pretty stout lap in his Cup car on the cyclone configuration:
1:48.7 (Mike Hedlund; 2011 Porsche GT3 Cup; Yokohama slicks; ~390whp/2875lbs w/driver; March 12)
I'm still chasing my sub 1:50 lap in my puny 997.1 Cup car with a "tired" motor.

The video actually makes the 991 Turbo S look like a ferocious beast and without cup tires and with all the extra weight too. Nuts.

The RS is now a comfy street driver that's as fast as a TTS, but more fun and more engaging than the TTS and GT3.
I'd expect that if a GT3 wants to keep up its going to need slicks. Just like the 997 RS needed to keep up with the 4.0 and still couldn't get by..
For winning DE get TTS on slicks or other turbo cars.
For most fun and linear performance morning till evening it's the RS followed by GT3 and for the budget deal mid engine manual GT4. The Mustang 350R has a chance as well.
Other than that, not much out there besides older non warranty GT3's and hot rodded air cooled Porsche's. That's why prices are what they are.

What I take great issue with is transparency. Having a friend post the car for sale implying the friend owns the slot and is willing to sell it for 3K, while the dealer who is delivering the car is making 97K is deceiving and my suspicion is no dealer or RL sponsor wants to advertise 100K over for a new car and get the backlash from how many people would take that on this forum.

But they closed their thread so quickly....
