Default How does the front lip come off an RS?

I have seen some dealer arrival photo's, anyone put it on and take it off?

Asking because I'm not sure if my ramps are long enough of my race trailer and I won't find out till our trailer is delivered in Germany during our ED.

The lip goes up to the corner lights so it's different than the GT3, I know the RS sits pretty high, but I don't have front lift, so it may have to come off to drive the car on it. Hoping it just comes off by jangling it and pops right back on like on the 997.

Not all of it, we drive to the Ring and Spa and where the fun roads are around the Red Bull Ring and Paul Ricard we have a few extra days where we take the car.

Wife insisted we don't drive all of Europe in a Mercedes Viano Diesel with trailer.

How else do I take 2 sets of tires with me?

You need to have some big Trakcar stickers made up for the Viano so people know who's coming and move out of the way.

LOL, not many vans towing a Mr. Purple on a triple axle open trailer I bet, but I'll see what I can do.

The GT3 lip is two screws but very hard to pull off. I wasn't able to do it without ruining the lip. At least on the GT3, it's not meant to be taken on and off regularly. Hopefully they made it easier on the RS.

Thanks! hopefully easier with RS. On the 997 there were screws but I never used them and the lip never came off. But even better if I can get it on the trailer with just scraping it and / or lower the tail of the trailer a bit by raising the front sounds like..

Hoping someone can post install and take off pics just in case...

I don't expect the RS to be any different than GT3. It's the same spoiler, just slightly deeper.

Maybe pick a few boards and throw them on the trailer.

That's plan B.
The difference is it goes all the way up and I can image extra mounting clips / screws by the corner lights. But yes planks to extend ramps / lift up front trailer..

"How does the front lip come off an RS?"
Give it to one of my daughters 16 year old friends and let them drive it to school - it'll be straight off!! She has one friend who been driving for three weeks and nearly taken the front of mommie's 3 series twice. She drives it so fast up and down driveways it's truly frightening. It's only a matter of time before she prangs it. Sorry bit off topic but the title made me laugh!
