guys when I get my porsche dealer I'll sell you stuff at MSRP. I will just ask for a right of first refusal on buying it back from you!

I would love to know the circumstances of those deals. Good on them but how do you feel about them selling your friends at MSRP and you being asked to pay 50K over?

If you could buy one personally at MSRP and wanted to sell it, would you take MSRP for it? And miss 100k?

I thought so.

Very short sighted thinking. I do rebates for my real estate clients...as the saying goes...give up a little now to get a lot more later. Those same clients give me all of their business and refer me friends, family, and co-workers. I don't have to do rebates but it's the right thing to do because realtors are overpaid for what they do plus it's a great way to create good karma and gets me customers for life. Same applies to selling cars.

Let me buy at least 1% of the Porsche dealership so that way I can say I'm a principal of a Porsche dealer.

Couldn't agree with you more however when in context with dealers around these parts before get a little excited about this over MSRP stuff and are very defensive and supporting them and their "capitalism, they need to pay bills, stop whining etc etc"

Personally there are about three dealers that I know I won't do business with. But that is just me and clearly I am not the majority.

I bet there are those who are probably thinking, "Damn, should've paid the 100k markup instead of buying more S&P ishares. **** me."

Nope. Mine is out of production 9-8. Getting close now. I made a mistake selling my '11 RS. Won't make that mistake twice.

Zero issues ...........these guys have purchased over 20 cars and me two, and one from a competitor. So I have one from this dealer, and never complain about market drivers. I prefer not to play the game, and I can pay the 50k just not that important to me worked to hard to just give it way. I'm really happy with my GT3.
