Black RS and White RS at Werks Reunion

The Zentrum was fun. I met a group of great locals. One of them had a '73 RS. Watching the hand rolled cigars was interesting. I squeezed into the GT4 buckets...ha ha ha! I think Porsche did a great job with the event.
I was pretty exhausted so I left at 10:30. I ran into another GT3 owner John, that I met at the Atlanta Center. It was great to catch up. Wished I could have caught up with more rennlisters, but I was wiped from the sun all day, along with the 5 hour drive from Truckee.
I hope to see a bunch of you at RRV.

I hope I will be back to 'active' form by the last week of September. I'll contact you, Mike-in-CA & other Rennlist friends directly via email/pm and invite you to our Carmel home to see our newest addition - a 'Signal Green' gt3 - in late September!

Nice shots!
That Carmine Red 991 GT3 was very attractive. The owner had 325/25/21's on the rear and the car looked lowered to boot. I couldn't get my finger between the rear tire and the fender lip; almost made me wonder if the car was just for display on those wheels as I don't see how it could be driven without rubbing.
I also like the red CL bolts but thought that the correct version for the 991 CL's weren't available yet in red and that those must be from a 997. Was hoping to talk to the owner but never saw anyone. Maybe he/she will see this and comment.

First impressions as walking up to the 991RS is the front end is absolutely huge, seems longer wider and taller than the 991GT3. Its almost Panamera sized, also quite a few plastic exterior bits.

Not the best pic, but a pretty realistic look at the color. It definitely looks washed out in bright sunlight, but I think the color is actually pretty nice in the right light.
