I prefer this car with silver wheels than black. The purple's got the aero features subdued (as opposed to say white or LO, against which the vents etc. really stand out)... Wheels in silver bring some contrast back into the picture.
That's just me. Either silver or black all the way, incl. uprights and lights. That, and red calipers don't seem to work on purple... think I'll be going PCCBs just for the yellow calipers...

Still went red because usually I torch them within a few days so yellow becomes bronze and red becomes brown. Rebuild and paint calipers is cheap, replacing calipers with open bridge design for normal pad changes still cheaper then PCCB.

I'm not a fan of the gloss black either, but platinum or matte looks better.
The 918 pulls off a silver wheel better, I will agree with that

A BIG congrats on your beast. I like the black wheels and lights, matches the rest. I'm not crazy about the silver uprights though, should be black. My .02

perfect combination, minus the blacked out headlights. I much prefer the regular silver backed headlights on any colour 991.
