Sept 16th, PEA'S & RICE, I don't get then why did PCNA take Sascha Glasear off of Porsche Exclusive 18 month's before they open.

Also for ANYBODY who has the knowledge of the land; is the Driving School where The Goodyear Blimp use to land back in the 80's and before? I forget exactly but I remember it landed on a very large field in Carson if memory serves right. My dad use to load us into the car and watch them land it there. That is if indeed it's the same spot for it's the only place in that area to have that much space to put something like the Porsche Experience.

It's in the same general area, where the 110 and 805 cross, but the Experience Center is on the west side of the 405 and the blimp field is on the east side. I heard the site used to be a golf course. Here's the location map Porsche links from their site:

And the source for that map:

Yes...it used to be the home of the 'Dominguez Hills Golf Course' and an apartment building!

They turned the casual suburban 'golfer'...

...into a Porsche Motorsport's clad 'racer'!

And as Joni Mitchell used to sing in 'Big Yellow Taxi':

'Don't it always seem to go
That you don't know what you've got
Till it's gone
They paved paradise
And put up a parking lot
'

In this case, I'd call it an improvement
