Almost all of those posters from 2015 only own .1 GT3 cars and many (not all) of them haven't been on RL in a while as a result.

I know only because I spend way too much time on RL ever since my first p-car in 2009....

Be easy on the guy, his question is still relevant. At least he didn't start a new thread on an existing topic.

Here is mine, had Joey lower mine approximately 1/2" when he corner balanced/aligned car:

Actually was thinking about this recently and am glad it was brought up again

Would the dealership really do this? I'm probably better off going to a local shop, here in L.A.

I lowered my first 991.1 GT3, my GT4 and my current 991.1 GT3 each by 1/2" with no issues. I try to stay away from potholes/curbing, for the most part, and haven't had any issues.

Hey, did you replace any other suspension components when Joey lowered/aligned the car?

Some local shops told me by lowering it, I would encounter castor adjustability issue, but Joey told me that isn't true.. Trying to find some clarity.

i think 1/2 inch would be ok. i lowered my m3, gtr, and 458 on springs. 458 was like 2 inch drop or something crazy.

personally i'm not touching mine. lowering = altered suspension geometry. i'll trust AP and his crew on this one. Plus after dropping it exacerbates the 'tuck' on the wheels and how inboard they are. so you're probably going to want spacers. further altering the geometries.

Quick Reply: Anybody lowered the 991 GT3 1/2"
