Question......is it worth having the exhaust ceramic coated? Other than colouring it, will it last longer?

I wrote that my GMG bypass is powder coated black; you are correct it is black ceramic coated.

The exhaust tip will change colors/tarnish in natural steel. I don't think the factory finish is even great. If ceramic coated, it will always be a cleaner uniform color and an indestructible finish.

My personal opinion it should be black. Ceramic coating is the way to go. Powder coating it will fail over time.

Wait - this is a single butthole just like Matt's Chris Smith experiment, but nobody said anything about not liking it. Why is that?

The GMG single outlet bypass is not round but oval and fills the cutout space on the lower valence better, appears to follow the contour of the cutout. See photo I posted of my SBM above.

So all Chris Smith has to do is reshape the exhaust outlet

I like the extra note it gives and certainly makes it louder in the higher rpm's. I'm very happy with it. By the way, finally put a front tow hook plate holder on.
