Whether you can register it for road use or not will depend on the state in which you live.

I think we have to make it ourself, I don't want to put down the Singer its a beautiful car, butI think I could do a little cheaper, 964 donor car, strip out the rear seats, lightweight roll bar, shock tower braces, carbon seats, tune the motor, short shifter, headers and reprogrammed ECU I think I could build a killer track street retro car, kind of like an outlaw 356 but a 911 or maybe a Magnus Walker 911 modernized. In the scale modeling world there are "group builds" where a bunch of guys get together and build the same model kit, comparing notes and sharing knowledge, maybe we should do the same

I'm not sure singer is a good replacement for an rs. I was at the track when a very capable driver had the engine (cosworth) blow on him. For the prices they charge XD.
I think the real answer to the question is a 991 gt3.

price ridiculous on that one, theres a difference between being wealthy and dumb, andI dont particularly want a car thats built only in the hundreds, parts and reliability are all issues then. Its like medications, if they try them on a few hundred people you never see alll the side effects until thousands take it, then you can see how safe it really is

MP4-12C has a lot going for it. I've had my 2012 for 2.5 years and it is brilliant. I sure don't see the increased value of a GT3 RS over a 12C for me. I also prefer the original nose to the 650S harelip, but am in the minority. Only problem could be the huge dynamic range of the 12 C will make you want to drive it every day and not drive the GT3

On the other hand, the 12C has already taken its big depreciation hit. IMO it is a bargain right now (and I, too, prefer the original nose).
