i have purchased a Sport Classic a couple of months ago from a German Collector (car has 255 miles on it). i am in the process of importing it into USA right now under Show & Display DOT exception. it will be certified for road use, just like the previously imported Sport Classics were.

There are some pretty hefty restrictions and fines related to "show and display" importation - including some with time in the country limitations. Too restrictive for me and enjoy the car at the same time.
i really like the grey of your GT3 and the Sport Classic. would take either of those cars in a heartbeat.
i'd take this Audi RS6 I saw while in Germany last year too.
