Default Battery Maintainer

I drive the GT3 on the weekends and wanted to make sure to maintain the battery.

Anyone have suggestions?

I looked at this from Suncoast

http://www.suncoastparts.com/product...GT3INTERIORACC

and

http://www.suncoastparts.com/product...EXTERIORCOVERS

Has anyone used these? Any differences? Thanks in advance.

The first one looks identical except for the Porsche logo and $50 mark up. Thanks for helping out. Your experience has been good?

CTEK is the best - I have their trickle charger and also their largest battery charger.

They are also OEM for McLaren chargers. Top notch.

I also have the CTEK charger you can buy on Amazon. Not only is it less expensive than the Porsche branded CTEK charger, it offers an additional "Cold weather" mode which is actually what is recommended to charge the AGM battery in the GT3. My experience with both the model 3300 and 7002 CTEK chargers is excellent.

My dealer normally will give this and clear sidemarkers and rubber mat , key chain when you take delivery a new porsche.
Ask your sales for one. Dealer may give you one for free

get the CTEk 3300 and make sure you get the cigarette lighter adapter for use in your free cigarette lighter. If you get the Porsche charger it comes with the cigarette lighter adapter.

If you drive it every weekend a tender is not necessary. You can go 3-4 weeks without driving it and be fine.

I had a 98 993 for 16 years with a Porsche battery maintainer and replaced the battery only one time. Keep the charger on the car all the time.
