I think just the opposite - outside of this forum, most people do not want uncomfortable seats. For the exceptions, they can easily afford to buy them after the fact.

Am I the only one who finds the LWB's comfortable enough?

(Granted, yes, ***+ seats are a bit more comfortable.)

Lwb are comfortable. But they're not as comfortable as 18 way. They look badass.
But 100% on the street, I wouldn't have them.
If I drove my car to c&c and posed in front of it, then yes lwb.

I had 18 ways on order for my GT3, changed to LWB last minute.

I took delivery today, and I regret it. They look awesome, but not a seat for a car that's street driven regularly.

I'm not so sure. I ordered my previous 911 with LWB and my SA tried to talk me out of it because he said they were more difficult to resell than cars with power/adaptive seats. Probably less true with an RS but still, while in our RL world LWB's are "it", in the "outside world" there are other preferences at work. Just saying....

Yep
I love the look of the lwb, but I drive 100 miles a day and they aren't good for that. Jmo

Andreas was over at my house the other day and he told me a lot of the RS buyers don't need the LW buckets because since the RS makes more than 300 lbs. more downforce over the GT3 that you don't need them. Your a** just sticks.

Had a set of the old carbon sport buckets (similar to new LWB), they were comfortable to sit in, but hell to get in and out of.

Maybe they are buying the RS for their wives. Something cheap and not too dangerous with heated seats

First of all I, I was surprised the RS didn't come standard with the LWBs, given that it is a more extreme , track focused version of the GT3. Secondly, as for the comfort, the LWB are great once you are in them, but they are a bit more cumbersome to get in and out of. This is especially true for anyone with any back or lower let issues or significant others with short skirts.
