Full 991 GT3 Performance Exhaust Line Now Available!
There is no question that the 991 GT3 offers one of the most enjoyable driving experiences available today, but like any true enthusiast, we felt it could still be even better. So we set out to do just that; to take the 991 GT3 driving experience from excellent to downright exhilarating.
Fabspeed’s new line of performance exhaust products for the 991 GT3 not only wake the car up and provide noticeably better throttle response, acceleration, and handling, but they also create an auditory experience that is truly second-to-none.
From mild upgrades to simply improve the exhaust note to full-on racing exhaust systems that add almost 30 whp in the mid-range; Fabspeed offers a solution for every owner.
As always, we offer special savings to our friends here on Rennlist, so shoot us a PM or an email at info@fabspeed.com.

Sorry, but let's be intellectually honest here... that is simply not happening. It's a mod for sound, and the rest is placebo.

The full exhaust replaces the factory cats with what looks like 100 cel cats. That extra flow should result in more mid range power. Top end power is probably still 475, but I'll bet mid range improvements will show clearly on the dyno.

This dyno was provided with return of my GT3 from Fabspeed ...
The "Race Package" curve shows increased hp/torque through most of the rpm range relative to the OEM system. I understand the tested "Race Package" consisted of race headers, side muffler bypasses, and the Mini Maxflo rear mufflers. I currently run the race headers with the OEM rear muffler re-installed and have new VALVED side muffler bypass pipes (to be offered by Fabspeed). As actuating the sport exhaust button to open the valves essentially provides a straight path to the tips within the OEM muffler, the dyno curve of my present system should be close to, if not the same, as the "Race Package" curve. After testing the original "Race Package" version, as described above, found the low-rpm drone to be too much for the street, although perhaps fine for race track with helmet on.
Note that below 2600 rpm the "Race Package" loses against the OEM system ... but for me this matters little.
FWIW, I find by butt dyno saying the car has quicker/better throttle response than the original GT3 system. Will be at Watkins Glen with PCA doing a DE May 9/10 ... will see if it pulls favorably against unmodified GT3s.

Yes, the valves work and either (when closed) direct exhaust gases to the baffled part of the OEM muffler or (when open) direct exhaust gases essentially straight to the tips within the OEM muffler. I think the system works great.

Removing the side mufflers will take weight off the rear end of the car which I think we can all agree would benefit the 911 handling.
Of course when removing weight and adding power, the acceleration will be impacted as well, all be it with such small numbers(relatively speaking) the differences will be felt accordingly.
We are not claiming that the difference will be night and day like a totally different car, but they will be real differences perceivable to different people in different ways.
