I think the new engine sounds better than the old mazger ones.
Higher pitch.

I agree, they both sound amazing but the new one just inches ahead.

Any sense what the GT3 R price will be and whether one needs to prove intentions to race it?

porsche finally going to race DFI engine. so no one will say engine in 991 gt3 and rs isn't good because porsche isn't racing it anymore.

Absolutely! I was just reading it! When did the GT3 R come with a manual transmission?! And that " is suppose to change in the future ". HA!

Yep, and same engine as 2012 (Mezger)? - it is now DFI development from 991 GT3RS. And only costs $40k more than GT3? (actually costs more than 3 times as much...), doesn't have a PDK (has a sequential), etc.
