Agree that's fair. It's a shame dealers take advantage, and clearly some buyers drive the craziness.

Capitalism is private ownership of business for a profit. If I own something I am free to ask whatever I want for it. The market will determine if someone is willing to buy it at that price.
No one is forcing you to purchase any good or service.
I suspect you will find lots of capitalists on this site. I am one. That's how I pay for my Porsche's.

Are you actually saying your dealer is going to give you trade cash as MSRP? I highly doubt that. Maybe they will consign it for you at MSRP but giving you trade cash before sale is unlikely as they would be paying more for the car than they did from PNA in Decmeber at invoice just a few months ago. If that is the case they likely won't be in business too long. What dealer is it? I have a bridge id like to sell them.

Land of the free......hopefully always free. Anyone can charge whatever they want. To whomever they want. If someone pays what is asked, then so be it. Most people that can pay for a GT3 know this practice better than most.

I'm number 2 in the list with a top 5 volume dealer so fine. My biggest issue is that I just got offered the last speciale build for July so I'll likely take that over the RS. No need for both IMO

I just sold my GT3 to P car dealer for MSRP last week so I could do in/out for tax credit on new car. It's possible, all about relationship/options/mileage, etc. just FYI.
Okay back to cat fight...
