I asked the guy who handled my 991.2 GT3 deposit about this new allocation amount, his response, fwiw (grammar issues are all his... ��):
"There where 300 paint to sample allocations for those who where awaiting special release of PTS builds. There all spoken for and those that received the allocation have been waiting for there build slots from Porsche for quiet some time here in the U.S."

By "build slot", you mean you have an allocation or you were placed on the dealer's waitlist? I didn't think any dealers had allocations for 2016 GT3s yet.

Indeed. That's because they aren't out yet. They should probably drop in the next few weeks when PCNA dishes out the next batch of allocs (not limited to the 991.1 GT3).

Without even asking about 2016 GT3's I just got an email from my SA saying they have internal rumblings directly from Porsche that there will be a limited run of 2016 GT3's (no RS) and would I be interested in one? He said that his dealership might get one or two.
I have a GT4 on order already with September delivery... if these 2016 GT3s materialize I am going to need a bigger garage quickly

SO, i got an e mail that an indecent dialer would put me in the #1 psition fornthe GT3 2016 GTS.
So I went to the most honest guys in the world, Porsche Huntington, in Li. , NY.
I have known these guys for over 20 years!
They said that there are no allocations for the GT3 cars in 2016, yet an independent dealer, not a PORSCHE DEALER HAS ALLOCATED ME First position for the nrw 2016, GT3 cars.
In wewnt to the dealership and they told bme, there r no allocations for the the new GT3 car, So confusing!!
I have known Porsche of Huntingtoin for over 20 years and I trust them to no end.
So, what is the deal, r there 2016 GT3 cars available or not? who is bull****ting me??

The latest news is that there will be a short MY2016 991.1 GT3 run. No allocations have been dished out to dealers yet. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either lying, or doesn't truly know and is speculating.
