I'm feeling your pain, my RY has been at the dealership for a bit, won't be picking it up for at least another week or so due to my house and garage renovations/painting etc. and I certainly don't want the car parked on the street. My time is getting closer though. Congrats on the car and I love the stripes b/c I'm thinking about doing the same but not sure what colours to use. Did you have any other colours in mind or were you sold on the gray right from the start?
Yes, on the matte platinum grey as it matched the wheels. As for the red stripe I talked to Kyle about this a bit and he recommended the red; said that with yellow there were limited options that looked good in his opinion. Actually, I was a bit worried about the red, although it turned out very well; enough to accent brake calipers but not too much.
Check out kistudios.com and look at stripe kit 008 for options on the two color combos you can choose for the stripe. Kyle will also do a rendering for you if you want to see what it looks like before pulling the trigger; he's a good guy. Busy, but good.
Good seeing another RY GT3.
