Is the wife converted?
Just a stupid story from this am. The wife pulls into a parking lot this am and pulls alongside the GT3 below and sends me the picture in a text telling me the following.
She saw it was a GT3 (good start) and took a photo of it. As she was taking the picture the owner arrived and they got talking. Apparently he lives in Hawaii and stores it with a friend in the town where we live. He's just done tack day at Thunderhill and Leguna Seca. She noted his "funny" exhaust which points away from the sound monitors and so he went untouched. He told her changing the exhaust was the first thing he did so I got a "he sounds just like you" comment!! She also noted the matte black highlights running the length of the car and said it looked good. But the bit that got me was she actualy asked him if he had the bucket seats!!!!! How cool was that!! He has btw plus a cage and matching red stiching and seat belts!! I was surprised at how much of the detail she picked up on - maybe she has been listening to my ramblings for the last several months after all?

Women do listen...I received a text from my GF in Dallas yesterday saying:
"I will...oh btw, was sitting at the light at NW hwy and midway and I hear a car engine and look up bc it sounded familiar. The GT3 in white. How 'bout me picking up on that? 😏"
She's a keeper

I was at the PCA GGR track event with this gentleman at Thunderhill this past weekend, he was so fast everyone was talking about this "red GT3 with black strips". I am guessing he was probably running under 2 min.

My wife is totally converted to p-cars (well, she drives a Panamera). When I told her "I think I found my GT3!" she asked "Does it have these seats you want?".
I only bought my GT3 because of her. A brief of the story here:

PS. To OP: I am not trying to hijack your thread. If you think so, let me know and I will delete the link.

I totally get the wife thing you say...
Case in point. When the RS came out, she asked me if I was disappointed.
I was surprised and asked why she said that...
She replied "doesn't it have the body of the turbo? You don't like that body, no? And the specs don't look that different than your 3"
I told her I didn't think she ever listened when I ramble about cars... Every day.

You know that could be dangerous if they start conspiring on how to get their own back!!!!
No problem whatsoever. As I said it was a silly story that a few on RL might appreciate/enjoy. This is the great thing about the forum - people willing to share and learn at the same time.
