Just put down a deposit with two dealerships. The 991.2 GT3 should be arriving in the fall of 2016 as a 2017 model. You should be close to the head of the line if you place a deposit now, 18 months early.
But put down a deposit at TWO dealerships. You can always be screwed by a shady dealer, particularly in California.

All GT3s will be N/A and he "hopes he has the boards ear" on a manual gearbox option.
GT2 RS confirmed for the end of the life of the Gen 2 car, probably in 2018. Seems logical that the GT2 would be before that?
Title also says that all GT cars will be N/A - so I assume the GT2 RS is going to be a hybrid? Seems odd to me.
